I have a corolla 2004 white color. I tried liquid wax that I use on my 07 camry (glossy) and that didn't work. How do I find out what kind of paint it has? Does anyone know? Or probably someone who has 2004 corolla LE can chime in? Thanks
What "didn't work"? Car waxes just provide a layer of protection on top of your clearcoat. If the paint is already dull and the clearcoat is on the way out, the wax is not going to change much.
The difference in car waxes is mostly in their durability. The regular ones last shorter and you have to apply them more often. The better ones last longer.
If you post pics of what you are trying to change, you will get better suggestions.
If you go to a hot rod show like in vegas you will see that their are hundreds of polish systems being displayed. Most used at car shows are either sposored or they use personal favoite mostly very similar.
