I agree they will not be able to compete.

What Car Company Will Go Bankrupt Next?

Now Tesla has posted two very healthy profitable quarters in a row, great growth and paying off debt, risk has been significantly reduced. Profitability moving forward looks quite likely for the next 5 years or so.

Meanwhile, Ford lost money last quarter and has year over year decreasing revenue.

Has much else changed in the landscape? Anyone changing their minds on the inevitability of electric transport revolution?
Ever hear of Hyundai/KIA?

No, they're not going bankrupt. But they're not in your poll.

Tesla,

1. Because they suck, always did
2. Electric cars are still not mainstream and won’t be for a very long time

Tesla shouldn't even be on the list. Clearly people on here don't live in more affluent areas. I see Tesla EVERYWHERE and if you go to California, the are like Toyotas. I think they are HUGE.

I voted for Volvo. China messes a lot of things up.

It depends in what part of the country you live in to see that many Teslas, i would love to see a Tesla were i live in this winter vortex were the windchill was -35 I wonder how much heat the Tesla would put out to keep you warm and how fast the battery will last. Until they can last all day running to keep the heater running you won’t see the electric vehicle replace the gasoline engine anytime soon. In this very cold weather we are having in the Midwest i bet that anyone with just a all electric car wish they had a good ole gasoline engine vehicle with 4 wheel or AWD.

Question is bankruptcy though. I could see one of the bigger players buying out Tesla for their tech. But not declaring bankruptcy.

Those people will move on to much newer Porsche and Mercedes-Benz EVs once they become available.

I don’t foresee a bankruptcy with any of those in 2019 ...
