I would caution folks that these are still early days for the Chinese EV makers introducing their products into Europe. But per "the Electric Viking", so far, it's not going so well...
I think Europe will be a somewhat tough nut to crack that is going to be pretty gradual. Europe has a lot of native automakers, and I think it's going to be the automakers owned or partially owned by Chinese automakers that will be the main source of growth in Europe (Volvo, Polestar, MG). Instead, I think it's going to be Southeast Asia and Latin America where China is going to see the most rapid growth, because it's essentially only Chinese automakers so far that have created inexpensive, subcompact EVs.
