Baltimore is the best represented city in the Olympics. From Michael Phelps, to Carmelo, Angel McCoughtry, to Under Armour, to the yelling "Ooooooh!" for Michael Phelps during the National Anthem, hell, to the National Anthem itself.

So?!! The yelling of "Ooooooh!" was corny and trite and that is typical of Baltimorans. You can't take them anywhere, they will embarrass themselves.

Actually, the Bethesdanoids are DC metro but that doesn't dampen my admiration for little Miss Katie.

My bubble's still intact, sonny. Frayed and worn, but still intact.

Here's an article that's tracking the progress of area athletes DC-area athletes compete in Rio Olympics: Events and results | WTOP

Of course, "area" is loosely defined....

OT - that 800m freestyle performance Ledecky pulled off was pretty special. That WR line had no chance on her .

Area is too loosely defined: Baltimore, Ellicott City, Bel Air, Annapolis, Towson is all Baltimore
