I am a Brewers fan, and obviously disappointed by the nlcs results.
That being said, the way the Cardinals scrapped and fought their way back from a late season 10 and a half game deficit and beat both Philadelphia and the Brewers on the road, shows their tenacity and grit.
They are a team that never quits----plays aggresively ----and is loaded with talent ----and to think they did this without Wainwright.
I respect the Rangers-----they are tough------but what I have seen of the Cardinals over the last couple of months they appear to be destined to win it all.
Agreed, I view the Cards slightly different than the going opinion and that is I view them as serious competition vs an underdog. I still look for the Rangers to win but their gong to have to fight for it.
St louis just might do it! getting concerned here in TX Ranger country, but it might be one of those years. I DO wish that the so-called classy Cardinal fans would actually try to be a bit gracious. Going on other teams sites long after the series was over and still gloating, is kinda sad. Talk all the trash you want on your teams fans pages, or even your current opponent, but get over yourselves already because, Karma can be a %^%.

Don't judge tens of millions of Cardinal fans by a few jerks on forums. All of Texas was once Cardinal country, and the Cardinals organization and their fans have been earning respect since before most Ranger fans were born.
St. Louis is a pretty small city by MLB standards, and they are near the top in attendance every year, even when they have a losing, non-contending team. Their fans, overall, are pretty hard to fault. And believe me, they have criticisms of the Cardinals, too.
In a short series, any attempt to predict the outcome will reveal you to be one of two things: Lucky, or Foolish.
While some may state that I'm going fairly far out on a limb, I predict, boldly if I may add, that the winner will be one of the two teams that are playing baseball this coming Sunday, the 23rd... with the winner to be crowned either that night or within the next few days thereafter.
Scoreless in the bottom of the 6th. Both pitchers have only given up 2 hits and Elvis Andrus/Ian Kinsler have been brilliant defensively!
Massively awesome defense by those two... seriously beautiful.
Now,,, wow, Allen Craig
