Cards will look good at the corners, and they just got Mark Reynolds. He'll offer a good platoon with Adams if he falters against lefties. I like these guys.
In four more weeks we should be able to forget about Ferguson and not worry about the crime and the corrupt leaders we have here because baseball season will be starting. It will be time to see if that Cardinal shirt will still stretch over that pot belly and maybe buy a couple more pair of those goofy looking shorts that people wear these days, you know..those things that come down to the knees like bloomers. I probably won't get to see much of the game because I'll be busy texting and looking for the hotdog vendor. GO CARDS !!!
Adam Wainwright left the game against the Brewers with a possible left ankle injury. The Cardinals won 5-3.
Speculation is Wainwright tore his Achilles and may be out for the season. This would be the worst case scenario I hope does not happen. Wainwright has been placed on the 15 day disabled list.

Unfortunately, Waino will be gone longer than that (nine to 12 months). He'll certainly be missed, but I have faith that the other starters will pick up the slack.
Physicians who have examined him think the injury is bad enough to be out for the remainder of the season. Wainwright will have surgery later this week. The period begins of healing, rehabilitating and returning to game form begins afterward.
One Cardinal that has quickly impressed me and won my heart is pitcher Mitch Harris. He is a real American hero graduating from the United States Naval Academy and serving in the United States Navy.
