besides the Clippers who have enough $$ to land a top-tier free agent like Lebron, Wade, Bosh, etc. this summer? Just wondering about that since we only hear of the Nets, Knicks, Bulls, and Miami. I know my Rockets would only be able to get a top free agent through a sign and trade.
No, I think the Clippers are the only team in the West who have the money to sign one of the top players. The only way any other team could get one of those players is through a sign and trade, and I wouldn't expect to see the Cavs do so unless Lebron told them ahead of time that he was going to leave, which good chances are he wouldn't do that. I keep hearing rumors about Bosh getting traded to LA(Lakers), but if they win a championship again this year really what would be the point of that. I think the Rockets should make a huge push to get Bosh since hes from Texas.
