So he shouldn't be held accountable for anything because the cavs don't have a STAR?-lol

I think Byron Scott has two years. If he doesn't show significant improvement early next year from this season, I think he could get fired in the middle of the season in 2011-12.

he isnt held accountable because he doesnt have any players. 3 of his top players are out, andy v, mo, and leon poe are all out and players have been in and out of the lineup all season. if he had andy, and mo all season maybe that would be a little different.

he is barely half way through his 1st season on a team with a lot of injuries and who are built to play around a guy who is not even there anymore.

he has AT LEAST half way through next season.

My point is he still gets paid so it's up to him to come up with some kind of new plan to improve what is currently going on

yes he gets paid, as does the coach of the wizards who have gone, say it with me now, 0-21 on the road and are 13-31 on the season.

and same for the coach of the kings who are currently 10-33.

the difference in those 2 teams situations over the cavs, they have more talent, and their coaches have been there longer. in other words there are several coaches who deserve the ax way before scott does. by your math greg popovich should have been fired the year robinson went down. you know the year that got them the #1 pick in the draft and led them to 4 titles. do the spurs win 4 titles and 11 straight 50+ win seasons with someone other then pop, or phil jackson? NO! close maybe but still no.

bottom line the guy has not even finished a full season with terrible talent, and a ton of injuries to the couple of talented guys they do have, but your ready to string him up. damn man give the guy a chance i mean how many coaches do you want that team to have? and how many "better" options are there to pick from? jeff van gundy? yeah he isnt leaving that cush job with espn, how about they talk phil jackson into leaving the cash cow he has in la to come coach the second half. lets be realistic and not jump the gun.

Anderson Varajeo is the Cavs best player by a wide margin IMO. His lateral quickness and tenacity on the defensive end would get him major minutes on any team in the NBA.

Cavs are now a full 30 games under .500 with a 19th straight loss tonight, 117-103 to the Nuggets.

Is it ok if the Cavs lose all their remaining games while scott keeps his job since there is no star and injured players?-lol

While losing every game from here on is ridiculously unrealistic, bottom line is Byron Scott has a terrible team missing 3 of it's best players. It's like playing an entire season with all bench/d league guys. It's like saying fire Phil Jackson because the lakers suck if they didn't have Kobe, gasol and bynam/odom that team would be terrible.

Sure Scott isn't doing a great job but damn man give the guy at least a whole season and some healthy players. Who knows maybe they are tanking to go for the most pingpong balls.

Cavs lost again tonight to the Pacers...that makes it 22 losses in a row, I think...
