The pacers are a classic try-hard/dirty work type team. They could beat anyone in the league on any given night, but this is the NBA. We have a lot of examples of teams like that who make the playoffs, maybe sneak a series win or two, but never get over the top tier teams. People cite the 04 Pistons as the exception to that, but they had vastly superior starting 5 than the Pacers do.
As a Bulls fan, assuming they are healthy, I would love to avoid the Pacers in the playoffs, but would still consider them very heavy underdogs to get out of the EC, or really even to the ECF.
So the Lakers win 2 games over two teams who probably won't be in the playoffs, CAVS and BUCKS, and ESPN is making a big deal about the Lakers new defense?
wow the griz took nearly 3 times as many fts as the spurs (28-10) and made nearly 4 times as many (23-6) and the spurs still won by 21. hell of a game! and with no manu.
Dwight's FT last night...he decided on the short arm shooting strategy..
