Lakers management is pretty smart. When they are saying one thing and the fans are saying another.....I think the fans should take a step back and consider how much emotions are ruling their thinking.

Dwight may never win a championship but if he leaves, the Lakers aren't going to be in the playoffs for 3-4 years....maybe a lot longer.
I think it's time for the Lakers to rebuild like the Celtics and 76ers are doing. Kobe isn't getting any younger.

If I'm Dwight I take my time and visit all the cities that are interested in me. I let them woo me and tell me what I want to hear. Then I act like a pampered little biotch for a couple weeks, then I stay in LA.

The Mavs are really close to having $0 commited in salary for the 2014-2015 season, after shedding Cunningham last night. Dirk said he's made enough off of Cuban, and will play for chump change when he re-ups. I love it when an athlete saves their money...

I'm not sure how Dwight feels about being a GM, but the Mavs are offering the position to him if he will sign.

Maybe the Lakers wont win a championship in the next few years, but they will go to the playoffs, they may miss one year but that's it. But I still think they will win a championship before Dwight does if he leaves.

I kinda agree with you, and I am willing to wait for them to win again, I think that might be an exciting journey back to greatness.

It doesn't matter where Howard goes, he'll disappoint. His presence on a team seems to prevent a team from obtaining that championship pedigree.

I'd like to see him leave LA. I'm a Laker fan, and simply don't see Howard measuring up to the high standard that LA requires. He stymies a team because of his limited skills, lack of intelligence, and uncoachability. Overpaid and overrated, he will not meet expectations wherever he ends up...but he will get paid well. That has him continuously laughing, smiling, clowning, giggling all the way to the bank.

Quick question. Whom sucked the Lakers out of the playoffs last year?

How long have you been an NBA fan?

Imagine what a Celtics Fan would have said around the time Bird retired.

The Rockets are meeting with Howard after midnight tomorrow in LA...their contingent includes Drexler, Olajuwon, Parsons, Harden, and Darryl Morey(GM)....if they can't get Howard, it will be a huge disappointment!

Howard will meet with the Mavs on Monday and Lakers on Tuesday.

Howard is a princess. He wants to be the center of attention. Have to make him think hes the leader of a championship team.
