He told you that he wanted to expand the NBA from 30 current teams to 40 teams (2 conferences, 8 divisions of 5 teams each. Top 2 teams from each division make the playoffs)
Also to change the season scheduling a little by dividing it up into smaller tournaments (like in College).
1. What cities will you choose to place a new NBA franchise?
2. IF you choose to move any current teams, where would you move them to?
3. For the new teams, what mascot/nickname will you give the team?
4. Will you rebrand/rename any current teams?
5. What regional tournaments would you create for the season?
1. Rename several NBA teams
-Rename Utah Jazz to something else. Anything else. Maybe Utah Wildcats
-Rename the New Orleans Pelicans to the New Orleans Jazz
-Rename the Charlotte Bobcats to the Carolina Flight
-Change Carolina Flight colors back to Carolina Blue, aka Sky blue
-Rename the Memphis Grizzlies to the Memphis Kings (Elvis & B.B.)
2. Move the Sacramento Kings to Seattle and change name to Seattle Sonics
3. Move the LA Clippers to San Diego (San Diego Clippers)
4. Add 10 cities:
-Louisville Thoroughbreds (KENTUCKY SHOULD HAVE BASKETBALL)
-Cincinnati Hogs
-Pittsburgh Vipers (Black & Yellow)
-St. Louis Bombers
-Kansas City Cowboys
-Alabama (Birmingham) Ballers
-Norfolk Waves
-Omaha Cyclones
-Baltimore Bullets
-Nashville ???
I would add the Fresno Aggies, Seattle Sonics, Kansas City Tornadoes, Birmingham Bosses, Hartford Truth, Tampa Twisters, Columbus Colonels, Wichita Hornets, Norfolk Erasers, and the Albuquerque Albatross.

I wouldn't move any teams, because with 40 markets u have to start searching for cities to place teams. Each division could have a round robin tournament at the beginning and the end of each year, like in college. Thinking about this is pretty cool, with all the smaller markets in this league. Fans around the country would have more options for a favorite team.
I tried my best to pick a name that has to do with the region the team plays at. The only name up there that doesn't have to do with the region is Redtails. If you don't like any of those names, what would you choose instead of those teams?
Cleveland Cavaliers become Cleveland ______
Golden State Warriors become Golden State ______
I still can't figure out names to give Cleveland and Golden State. Any ideas?

Do you have a name change for the Chicago Bulls and the Philadelphia 76ers?
Do you have a name change for the Chicago Bulls and the Philadelphia 76ers?
No. The Bulls came from Chicago's status as the meat capital of the world. And the 76ers, that mean should be a no-brainer on where it came from.
