I know that they have been bad for quite awhile, but they should, at least, have a thread.

The '13-'14 season will start in a few months. As of this writing, they don't have a head coach yet.
I guess that that stiff, Andrew Bynum, is still with the team.

Is there ANY hope at all? Are there any fans of this team out there?

I'm not a big fan, but I used to like them around 1999-2002 when they had AI, Mutombo, Snow, McKie

It's going to be a long season for the 76ers. I hope your not expecting them to make the playoffs next year.

Bynum signed with Cleveland.

Geez - you are as bad as me with the loyalty.

Bless your heart for starting a Sixers thread...

With the removal of Holiday - it will be a couple of years before sniffing relevancy. But the Rockets were not supposed to be playoff ready this year and they surprised many this past year.

DRob - I wouldn't call it loyalty - per se. EVERY professional team should, at least, have a thread - official or not. How many people post on it, remains to be seen.
"A couple of years"? It has already been MANY years that they have stunk. They don't even have a head coach yet and the season is going to start in a few months.

BTW - They whittled the search down by one. They told Griffin - the Bulls assistant coach that they aren't interested in him.

Josh Harris, the principle owner of the Sixers, is supposedly purchasing the New Jersy Devils of the NHL - an arch rival of the Flyers.
I'm going to guess that the vast majority of Philly fans, of every sport, are going to hate this. I don't see how he is going to be well liked in Philly anymore.

They improved dramatically simply by getting rid of that mope Bynum. Shows that somebody in that organization has some brains.

When somebody doesn't play for the whole year, and gets paid huge amounts of money, you don't have to have alot of brains to get rid of him.
