This is the reason it may not be such a good idea for the NBA to make a practice of drafting 17/18 year olds. (Unless they better develop the D-League). Most dont have the maturity to deal with 'not being the man' when they skip college. Heck it happens all the time. Pretty sure 90% of the kids that get a D1 offer were the best on their high school team. The stars of AAU may go to more elite schools. But learning how to deal with obsticles in ones life, is more important to success. 99% of college players dont play pro...better get an education so you can have a backup plan.
