Are there any markers on the buildings or other objects in Hilo that show how high the water got during the 1960 tsunami?

I've never noticed any - the Tsunami in 1946 was much worse than 1960 and I don't see anything related to that also on the buildings.

The Coconut Grill at the Seaside Hilo hotel has some tsunami water line markers... but I don't recall what the years were.

There is a marker for the "Site of Shinmachi" where the whole housing area was washed away. That is in the middle of Wailoa Park so there's nothing left in that area to put marks on.

I'll bet the folks at the Pacific Tsunami Museum could help with your question.
