No, I can't verify it, which is why I said "heard about" instead of posting it as fact.

Chelsea, Everett, Malden, Medford, Melrose, Revere, Somerville, Winthrop, Charlestown, and East Boston according to the Boston Region MPO. The Metro North Regional Employment Board also includes Cambridge and Arlington, and stretches as far north as Wilmington.

What happens if you get pulled over and it is determined your windows are too dark? How do reverse it or lighten them? Is that possible or would you have to replace the windows?
Just curious. I think a certain amount of tinting is good for some of the reasons listed. Especially in a large city like Boston. But maybe not because if the crooks see the windows tinted they think you have something good in the car you don't want to be seen and they break in anyways.

Aftermarket tint is just a film that can be removed.

Factory tint is dye in the glass when it's being manufactured. For obvious reasons, manufacturers don't sell cars with illegal tinting.

Actually if your car is registered out of state then you can't be ticketed for illegal tint. Mass plates.....different story!

That is either total BS or an urban legend.......It would be illegal to break someone's window

Helps prevent skin cancer too!
