question about boston girls (Oxford, Florida: store, moving to, car)

This is one thread that I personally find juvenile. What EXACTLY is the point supposed to be. I am fed up to my eyeballs with hearing about the "BOSTON ACCENT" I think the whole country is well aware of it by now. It is no more ridiculous sounding than the southern accent is to a Bostonian. Their are good looking people no matter where you go. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Oh shame on the Boston girl for not falling for every so-called "compliment" - I am sorry but this is really one of the more foolish threads I have read in quite a while.

Well the original goal of the thread was to determine whether Boston girls tend to wear more makeup than girls of other cities as based on one's encounters on their morning T commute. It's a relevent cultural issue regarding appearences in an urban environment. Those who have preferences for women with minimal to no makeup vs. women with large quantities of makeup would be interested in the outcome of the thread. However, it turned into more of an anecdotel comparison of the personalities, accents, and looks of the Boston female in general with a few references to make up here and there. As what occurs with most long threads in an online forum, this thread has been hijacked. I apologize that I've affected your delicate online forum sensibilty by being the original poster of this thread. Cheers!

No joke. I'm settling in nicely here in Chicopee. Moved here a month ago from Boston. I just cashed my second paycheck today and bought a bicycle so now I have T R A N S P O R T A T I O N But, seriously.......my nerves were shot riding the T. If your a Boston girl that thinks that your going to get some celebrity, well you should realize that those guys are going to date other celebrities or the prettier southern women. Anyone here been to an SEC football game or school...then tell me who has prettier women.

I know I'm clogging up the thread, but I just had to say HELL YEAH! I'm from Kentucky and of course my favorite school is the University of Kentucky. The SEC is LOADED with hot chicks.

I disagree. I would say on average Boston girls weigh 25% less than their southern counterparts, look better, and dress better. I will agree the Southern girls are a whole lot less inhibited than St Botolph's repressed puritans.

And I left Springfield as soon as I turned 19 and will have never gone back. Chicopee? Ewww.

I'll defend the BOS girls here though. The reason you don't see beautiful BOS women at a football game is because they don't don't go. They have better things to do than watch football. You'll find them working at the Medical Center or at the university trying to find the cure. I assure you Partners Healthcare and Northeastern University is packed with babes - and not just cheerleader bimbos either.

Yes. My sister is a bio major (pre-med) at NEU. She does some volunteer work and intership stuff in the Longwood area. She's been kind enough to introduce me to people she's met there. Wow. Gorgeous girls (with brains, go figure!) of all nationalities working in useful fields. The South can have the Kelly Picklers, Miss South Carolina's, Jessica Simpsons, Carrie Underwoods, etc... I'll take a beautiful, intelligent doctor or nurse any day.

I wasn't referring to cheerleaders, just saying that if you go and tailgate or attend a SEC game the girls are gorgeous. You don't even have to go to a game, walk around some of those southern schools and the girls are just naturally prettier than the north. I realize that girls in the north don't really attend college events...heck most people don't really attend college sports up here like they do in the south. I spent time in the south and to assume that southern girls are dumb isn't correct. I've meet smart and dumb girls in the north and in the south.

I will say that southern girls know how to flirt a lot better than northern girls though. You can defend Boston girls, but I still think southern girls are naturally more beautiful and just as smart.
