Lol, 99% of Buffalo?

Some of Buffalo is really run down, some is so-so, some is recovering fast, some is prissy and leafy and wealthy. A lot of very nice areas are outside the city limits, but they're still part of the urban area regardless of where lines on a map are drawn.

WNY is a wonderful place to live and rather than 99% of Buffalo looking like a war zone, I'd say it's more like 15%, and in all of WNY more like 3%.

WNY should definitely do more to give everyone in WNY a comfortable life and a nice neighborhood, but it's a hell of a lot better than what's happening in Baltimore, Detroit and New Orleans lately, and these problems are not Buffalo problems, they're Urban American problems.

Speaking of which, at least Baltimore, Detroit and New Orleans provide current national
standards of EMS and Provide Paramedic Advanced Life support Level by Fire Dept. & City Run Ambulances and why Buffalo still provides 1960's basic first aid. Why is Buffalo below national standards
and won't upgrade to national standards which is the norm just about everywhere else ? Could it be
because private ambulance service pays money to the Buffalo and makes campaign donations, also could it be because Bflo Fire Dept. local thinks, why should there members have to do anything more then what they already have been doing since the 1960's ?

You make the odd good point, such as local government corruption in Buffalo, or poor medical response (which is actually a massive problem in a lot of inner cities), however I think your good work is undone by a lot of hyperbole (99% of Buffalo is run down, etc... not even close), and by the fact that you skip over "99%" of the debate just to launch into your next "Buffalo sucks" point.

See what exactly? You mean this?:
https://maps.google.com/?q=89%20Summ...38&hl=en&gl=us

Anyone can show an area of the city to fit any narrative, as it is a city with a range of neighborhoods.

But you should start in the center or core of the City of Buffalo say Jefferson & Fillmore, or
Central Terminal, not the outer banks of North Buffalo, but all one has to do is just move over
a couple of blocks to the east to Main St, move South & East for 100's & 100's blocks, no
this is not a 3rd world county or a zombie apocalypse happened, your looking at what 99% of Buffalo looks like. Since you like using Google maps, show me another US City that looks
like a 3rd world country, except Buffalo's Peer city's of Detroit, Gary IN, Show me what
San Diego's & Charlotte's, poor areas look like ? City of Buffalo doesn't even have one,
NOT ONE new car dealership (No Ford, No Dodge, No Chevy, No Honda, No Toyota, etc,) inside the City of Buffalo limits tells you something about the city of Buffalo.

Why is it that the people that don't even here have a vested interest in trashing Buffalo? Don't you have anything better to do than make negative posts? If you don't live here than why do you care about whats going on here? If everyone was like you then we would have long since bulldozed the city into the lake and be done with it. I am sure there are other cities that you can trash. Why don't you enlighten us as to what you consider a great city worthy of your presence.

Any place that don't have a City Control Board & a County Control Board for
nearly 10 years like Buffalo & Erie County has. Any place that provides Public Safety
that's up to national standards which is just about everywhere else except Buffalo
