Received my 2020 City of Buffalo tax bill today.

My TAXABLE VALUE went up by 85%!

But my TAXES only went up by a whopping $4.00 a year.

I also took a look at recent home sales in my neighborhood - it looks like comparable homes to mine are listed at more than $100k over my taxable value, and several recent sales are going for 10 to 20% OVER listed price. Definitely a sellers market right now, but I don't plan on going anywhere anytime soon.
