That's good. Vermont is way too white. It needs another 80,000 plus blacks and another 213,000 plus Hispanics in order to be properly enriched by Diversity.

Will you stay in Burlington? move to another area? Out of Vt? just curious. We live north of you and have been here for 20 yrs, but every year the pull to move gets stronger.

I'm just here temporarily. Vermont is beautiful with very nice people. I just can't keep from poking crazy though.

Default Glad that someone still keeping the faith

Glad to know that you come from somewhere that makes the 2022 version of Burlington "loveable". Many of us find "Portland Oregon East" to be a very apt description. We just hope that the Burlington City Council will recognize that there are serious problems that did not exist to nearly this extent 20 years ago, that the problems are worsening at a far higher pace than most other US cities, and that the problems are real, not "the products of the fertile imaginations of people of privilege (i.e., multi-generational Burlingtonians".

Maybe Burlington was Portland East before Portland was Portland. I don’t think a Bernie Sanders type was Portland’s mayor in the 1980s.

Portland's mayor in the 80's was a pub owner named Bud Clark. Prior to becoming Mayor he got on the map with this
