I wanted to know what the opinion is of our business folks as to what impact having an interim county administrator versus a full time administrator has on businesses that might consider that county.

While in business for 16 years I never had any kind of dealings with any county people. The state and city issued the business licenses, collected B & O taxes and regulated business.

That's most likely how it would go if you locate into a city, but I'm asking anyone who located a business outside a city in the county.

It would be the same here, even in unincorporated areas the counties don't
have any control over the business licensing/taxing process. Their only interest would be in zoning/building permits if a business wanted to build something.
