And since it's just 5 miles up the road, I'd tend to agree with you. If one hung out in front of the general store for an hour RRF would win hands down.

On the plus side, the largest valued real estate transaction in Calaveras County happened in RRF. 17 million dollars for an 1800 acre ranch!

Was it a land of crazy millionaire who was declared insane and whose buffalos were running amok attacking people?
They're going to film next Swamp People in RRF right by the general store

Its a toss up between Happy Camp and Southwestern Trinity County California... law enforcement wont even go into certain areas anymore without lots of (unavailable) backup....

Some public roads are even "closed" by locals

Its plain scary and you feel like you aren't even in the USA

No. Different guy.

He wasn't declared insane either.

But that guy's buffalo did get out and attacked a woman living across the road.

He was just ordered to a mental hospital by the judge... There was some kind of land dispute around historic RRF landmark he was involved in... and mulitiple other lawsuits I think.
