California may be "losing people" as is so often stridently and tirelessly repeated on this site. According to this, it isn't in the top five of states people are fleeing.

I'm keeping unofficial count. So far I have counted 3 to CA, including an oil worker to Bakersfield, and 2 old ladies to Indiana, which I hope was not Gary, IN.

The yeah but types are going to use the raw numbers rather than percentages.

I do that here on Citi-Data! By saying "Move to ND or Montana!" But it doesn't seem to be working that well.

I asked certain members to please hand out coats to new arrivals though, and they didn't respond.

Seems to have backfired in fact. That oil worker is actually from Wyoming I guess and commutes to ND. Maybe it's just his sister that's from Wyoming though, not sure.

With California it is "Out with the old in with the new" I think Cali will always be a state that recreates itself.
