Actually it says "percent of residents being mega-commuters" from the article.

And it doesn't say or indicate that 1.23% of ALL mega-commuters in the nation live in Salinas like you just claimed Try not to misinterpret data and articles like you always do.

The Salinas MSA has 421,000 people in it btw. And it has 1,986 mega-commuters. Now tell me how 1,986 is 1.23% of 421K? Clearly the 1.23% is of COMMUTERS

"With so many workers commuting to the Bay Area, little Salinas was among the leaders, at 1.23 percent, about the same as Los Angeles."

1,986 is an estimate. The true number could be much much higher.

The margin of error for that figure is 402.

Still doesn't change the FACT that you have no clue what you're talking about here and made several incorrect statements regarding mega-commuters with Salinas. Just admit you're wrong and move on already before you dig yourself a deeper hold and self destruct even more so than usual

1.23% of 150,000 falls within that range.

Yes at 421K live in the Salinas MSA. The 150K must be the total amount of workers.

You getting it yet?
