wait.. so people who pass environmental protection legislation are the ones who are responsible for our current drought? i usually immediately pass over your drivel but this one was just too absurd to avoid comment.

I still can't believe Blacks are only 6 out of 100 people here in California.

More oral imagery... Quite a correlation with bigotry, aggression, and sexual repression.

Someone should do a study...

Los Angeles' black population peaked in 1980 (which coincidentally was when Los Angeles' Jewish population peaked).

African-American California has increasingly moved from the coastal areas to the inland areas like the IE and Sacramento, or out of state.

Hmm maybe I should move to L.A or SoCal. I see an increasing amount of blacks in NorCal now and may be working their way up to Auburn. Plus the ultra conservative politics are more an interest to me. Prettier women to date too.

When the sustaining of the life of a three inch fish and numerous other species of wildlife enjoys a [Bprotect-by-ALL-means-necessary priority over the necessity of an adequate supply of water for a state of 37,000,000+ to have a steady supply of it while simultaneously building and expanding our current supply of aquifiers and under ground storage facilities, it's no wonder that the poverty rate throughout the state and especially in the Central valley is skyrocketing, as numerous demographers such as Joel Kotkin and Wendell Cox have pointed out for many years.

The fact that the largest body of water on the planet is off limits for desalination plants thanks to the California Coastal Commission is indefensibly asinine, as is the fact that a network of dams and hydroelectric facilities and the construction of more of them throughout the state has also been prohibited for over three decades by Governor Brown and tons of other Democrats including Al (I invented the Internet) Gore certainly helps contribute to our atrocious business climate, including our sky-high prices of gasoline and real estate, and a systematic deliberately devastation of of the fossils fuels and manufacturing.

Environmentalists are not friends of the little guy and never have been; they don't believe in compromise anymore than numerous world leaders do, starting with our President and his counterparts in Russia, Venezuela, Argentina and lots of other places.

Rest assured that all of the foreign automakers would love building thousands of vehicles annually in a state where they have dominated the sales charts for well over 25 years, as well as a state which continues to produce tons of very well-educated students in engineering, tech, math and numerous other elated industries since this state is also home to 5 of the top 30 universities in the nation.

Having those very bright college grads would generate billions of dollars of NEW revenue for a state which has definitely needed it because it can't stop spending money it doesn't have and consequently has to raise taxes repeatedly

Nine of the ten best selling vehicles in this state were imports last year, not a single one of which was manufactured here. which predictably send millions of folks elsewhere looking for a place to pursue the American dream and some very good paying jobs which those same stubborn environmentalists have stopped cold from being created for decades, with the ensuing result more and more of California looks like a dreary politgically-created wasteland straight out of 'The Grapes Of Wrath', 'The Last Picture Show' or even 'Nebraska', courtesy of those same environmentalists and their Democratic lapdogs.

Check the price of gasoline in California as opposed to many other states courtesy of the job-killing green zealots if you need any more irrefutableevidence, and don't forget about our housing prices, another 'contribution' of theirs.

Yes. Subtract out the three million illegal immigrants (overwhelming Hispanic - but can be of any nationality of course) and non-Hispanic whites still have a fairly substantial plurality.

Liberals only attract their voting blocks by their words, but as proven over the past 20 years in CA, their actual policy implementations actually hurt the very same people who voted them into office.

I am not sure why anyone would be so surprised about the 5.8 %.
The percentage of California's black population peaked in 1980 at 7.7%, but population grew in great numbers until the early 1990s. Since then, the numbers started growing very slowly.
