Thank You, I was speaking to a friend who lived in California. He suggested the same place.

I remotely do not like cold climate what so ever and this is what fueling my desire to move to the state. I prefer and temperature above 70 or higher. The higher the better. I'm looking to live in a well diverse, culturally enrich area. I will say that I'm very liberal then conservative and my views do not align with christian base faiths. So I'm less incline to live in an area that is predominately a christian or catholic area.
Just to let you know, we have our times of temps below 70 degrees for the high, even here in Southern California.

Right now is a prime time for that. This is not southern Florida; even in summer the Pacific's water is NOT warm.

Thanks, that why I'm trying to get an idea of where to go temp wise. Just here in Delaware I keep my thermostat set at 80 during the day and at 74 degrees at night. So I definitely don't like the frigid temps we get here, witch are usually around 20-30 degrees in the winter or colder.

Are you seriously working on your Master's degree with grammar like that? Like a PP, I would have sworn English wasn't your first language. It's not just the grammar, but the way you word sentences is off. I don't believe it!

You can get a sense of humor at WalMart for 9.99 these days. Two year warrantee.

In the 19th century a lot of French impressionist painters moved to Tahiti. Not sure if it was for the weather or the topless native women.

Don't forget the cost of living: Why more people leave than enter San Diego

As far as 'gay-friendly' areas, you'll have no problem in most urban parts of Cali, although except for maybe Palm Springs, the inland & 'rural' areas tend to be significantly more conservative. But Guerneville, the Russian River area and the North Coast (Eureka, Arcata, Fortuna) are all relatively small towns on the coast, that are still pretty LGBT-friendly.
