Also, fuel economy is better in warmer weather. My fuel economy is best above 90F. It decreases about a half a gallon less when the temperatures are below 50.
I lived in Murrieta and drove all over the Country. Any time I left CA and filled up, my gas mileage improved. When returning and filling up it dropped. This was over 9 years there. I grew up in SoCal, living for 55 years in LA, OC, SD,Riverside Counties and am quite familiar with the issue.

The different season blends would work in CA and improve gas mileage. It would just drop the profit the companies make as they charge more now, and drop the taxes the State rakes in, and lower political contributions from the gas companies. NO change to emissions in a negative way anymore.

The ones who care are in the minority. They have no impact.

Jer Bear just signed into law a sanctuary state that will cost everyone money no doubt. Safeguarding illegals will cost money it's not free.

Since 2009 the tags on my 32 yr old car have gone from 55 to 67 to 81 to 83 to 93 & next yr to 118.00. That is totally unfair in many ways.

Not in CA, it is the norm.

Easy target. 99% of the people who complain about their tags will be complaining about the "evil DMV"--not the Legislature that passed the higher fees. From the politician's standpoint--win-win.

I always get better gas mileage coming back from Phoenix. Usually two mpg no matter the vehicle. It doesn't matter winter or summer either.

There are exceptions to everything. We did mileage tests because of an additive we were working on. Multiple trips.
