not so. or for the most part not: Yes the places you list run specials, but the specials are not anywhere up to the standards In&Out have. Recently, for the first time in years we decided to stop at McDs. have one to their specials: the burger was hardly fit for our dog and had nothing on it, not even sauce even though it was supposed to have their famous sauce. Oh, take that back, it had one pickle. How long has it been since your have had an IN&Out burger and how much did you pay for it? How many places still make everything they serve from scratch?

I don't happen to like their fries, but there is place for the money that can touch In&Out for their burgers. Burger King comes the closest.

Only tried them once, in Sacramento. It was okay.

They will cook them any way you like. If you just want them a touch browner than the soggy standard ask for "light well".

It sounds as though you're replying to someone else's post. I only said, in response to davidt1, that In-N-Out's prices are higher than those establishments'. It had no bearing on the quality of their burgers, which I do think is better. There is a reason In-N-Out is so.

McD's is not on par with In-N-Out, no. I never implied that.

I thought this was so funny. My mother-in-law is turning 80 later this week. I asked her yesterday what she would like to do for her birthday. I was thinking she might like to go some place like Las Brisas, or Rose Canyon Cantina in Trabuco Canyon, or Hana's. She replied, "I had in mind to go to In-n-Out."

In-n-Out, for an 80th birthday? I thought she was joking and said so. "No, I want a double-double, animal style," she said.

If you're getting a combo meal it's not more expensive than those places. In-N-Out just doesn't have a value menu.

Love their burgers but their fries are about the worst.

Our In N Out drive thru is like in a circular route, so it holds a lot of cars and would take a lot to reach traffic.
