In a nut shell... this is what's happening to your whole state. Focus.
Uh, the fact that many of us are not running down those "rabbit holes" should tell you that we are focused. Perhaps you should not focus on the couple of posters here attempting to derail things?

From the start, many of us have not gotten too involved about a disingenuous"exodus' argument that only focuses on outflows as opposed to a population that is predominantly replaced as people leave.

Many of us also realize that those people leaving are not taking their jobs with them and having them replaced by the people entering the state.

In addition, even if some of those jobs were eliminated, the amount of tax revenue they represent is miniscule compared to the total tax revenue of the state.

I think that's pretty focused. In the meantime, the same cast of characters ignore those points and continue on with their sensationalized gibberish.

"tribal lefties" Are you for real?

Derailed? This thread has already been hijacked. It's now about news sources rather than the "Great California Exodus Accelerates."

Clearly not but simply trying to get a rise out of people and derail the thread.

Heh, 2-3 pages out of 156 of a couple of posters trying to take the topic down a rabbit hole is not derailing the thread and in all likelihood those comments are going to be removed anyway.

Well, as bad as you might think California is at least we don't have a Governor who thinks that slavery was good because the slaves because they learned cool skills, like cooking, blacksmithing, and midwifery. That's almost as clueless as the Fox star Greg Gutfeld defending DeSantis by announcing that holocaust survivors needed skills, too (I'm looking for a vomit emoji but can't find one) With people saying stuff like that we won't need to worry about the Republican party it's killing itself with one stupid comment at a time.

Well, I think blameyourself was also saying just what you did here. As I did a couple posts back.

Once again: if any contributor wishes to make points / argue / whatever about the California *supposed* exodus, using a grossly biased media is a fool’s errand … any valid points can be found in relatively neutral media and / or other research. This thread already contains a trove of such worthy information.

Onward.

Well then, maybe it's time to close the thread since there's nothing more to say about it. Every area will experience some degree of movement by residents. For whatever reason. Personally, I haven't noticed any abandoned properties in my area so obviously people are moving in while others are moving out. It's now just another thread for bickering and arguing.
