It should be in the California forum to give people information to make their decision not to sugar coat it

Think back on how great California was before Communism completely took over and how great it could be again.

Oh, there's a poster called "lovecrowds" who puts up geography-based rants in the P&OC forum all the time. Kind of like this one here.

Yes working from home, as I do gives more time. BUT look at the posts that followed this one from you and see the garbage. The actual number of people posting is decreasing a lot.

I'm astounded some thinking the California exodus isn't real. That bubble you live in must be nice. In my circle, it's about 50/50 with who's left the state.

California will never struggle or trend severely downward. California is not in trouble. But is the overall quality slightly decrease as a whole while the cost of living keeps increasing...I think that's already happen.

If California was a stock, I'm selling it now. It's hit its quality of life peak. Unless you're uber rich.

50% of the people you hang with have left the state? It sounds like you're the one who is in a reverse bubble because that doesn't sound usual. I know of some young adults who have moved away (many went to university out of state, then got a job and decided to stay there) and a couple of retirees who moved to be near their grandkids, but it can hardly be called an exodus.

I've lived in Los Angeles, San Bernardino, San Diego, and now Orange county over the last 15 years. So several hundred people all over Southern CA the last 15 years isn't a bubble.

San Joaquin valley has the toughest rental market in america(Stockton to bako)
Tougher than Boise, Spokane, and the Sacramento valley. And a lot tougher than the hyped up Phoenix/Maricopa market, if you can believe it. You basically have to win the lotto to get an apartment. If there's an Exodus going on, it sure ain't happening here.
