Caucasian does not always equate to White, except in terms of statistics maintained by the U.S. government for some reason.

The reason I question this is because many of the Neighborhoods I know have gone from predominantly African American to Hispanic/Latino since the 2000 Census...

I wonder which type of people are being double counted (they add up to about 120%), it would be interesting to see, do these number represent ethnicities, races or some are ethnic groups, while others races?

Probably "Hispanic/Latino" many of them Identify as whites.

wondering same thing other races category and the minor ones too also and think you can choose more than one.
