Newsom (amazingly) vetoed SB-1256 (ban on disposable propane cylinders) in September, and the Bill's History doesn't show the Senate taking any action since.
Wow. That's good news. I haven't followed that one but it's good news. It's beginning to look like he's more conservative than the state's legislative body. I bet not one of them ever uses the propane cylinders so they're clueless as to how valuable they are. I think they're going overboard with this whole "rid the world of fossil fuels" thing but I don't know. A lot of voters think these people walk on water.

We had our dog house area right next to our eucalyptus trees.
Our dogs never got a flea or a tick.

Very interesting. Flea collars may contain toxic chemicals. One of my dad's dogs got some kind of cancer, I forget what, exactly. He thought it was due to the flea collar, so he quit using them. I wonder if any research has been done on that. Maybe a eucalyptus flea collar is all that's needed An herbal flea collar for the dog.

Insurers in California will not cover homes in close proximity to Eucalyptus trees. Considered to high a fire risk.

Are environmentalists keeping eucalyptus trees from being cut down?

No, they serve a purpose as a fine windbreak...examples can be seen on the west side of Hwy 101 between King City and Salinas. They are a favorite roost for birds, and the root system helps prevent erosion.

Fleas have oratory sensors that hone in on animal smells, which is why they are attracted to animals, especially dogs and cats.
The odor given off by eucalyptus trees is somewhat noxious, and fleas stay away form areas where these trees are present.
Don't believe me?
Take yourself to an area where there are lots of eucalyptus trees and take a good wiff of the air.
Then you will see what I am talking about.
