Men and cats. (kittens, litter, adopting, elderly)

I don’t think I have ever met any cat hating men.

I know more men who have cats than don’t, and those that don’t have cats like them, but have allergies.

When a guy comes to the house, like a contractor, or TV or phone man, most of my cats stay out of the way, but I have a couple of “people cats” who come right out to meet him, see what he’s up to, and check out his tools or paperwork.

Nobody seems to mind this and it usually starts them talking about their own cats.

I have 5 cats. A rude neighbor once said i was strange for having so many cats. I told her to mind her own business. She dont hate cats but people that hate cats are a waste of flesh & my time.

Hummmm, I have a cat Buddie that has 2 cats, they are his babies, his "brats". It is so funny to see how he melts into mush with his little girl in his arms. This big, handsome, hunk of a guy just turns into much and starts that baby talk with his babies.. I just watch in awe!

When he met mine and saw my CH baby Amy, he got tears in his eyes when he saw how her CH effected her and from that day on, everything we built for my cats, he made sure it was done to accommodate Amy's handicap.

He works with cats, help trap and transport for S/N. Once and awhile we have trapped ferals and tamed them, him taking a bigger role in it than me. He is the most feline oriented man I have ever met.

I have 2 cats a purebred somali and a free to good home kitten I rescued. I'm male. not just women like cats.

I've run into some men who don't like cats, but when I find that out about them, I try to minimize my contact with them. Almost without exception, they are jerks.
