I met Justin Beiber, OMG! He was soooo cool and hip!
On a serious note, the only famous person I remember meeting is a rapper, Trae the Truth. Real cool dude. We talked for about ten minutes before I decided I should stop bothering him.
Hmm...I was working security for a Meatloaf concert years ago and met the man himself..pretty cool.
Met the guys from the band "Live" back when they were big..around '94-95. Cool, down to earth.
Jesse jackson.probably not what i consider a "celeb", but anyone who can have score of people in an airport come up to him should be at least included. He was pretty nice..The man is tall..about 6-4, 6-5
When i was younger I saw a few Pro wrestlers coming and going. One was Precious Paul Ellering and the other was Ernie Ladd on a flight I was on. The guy was so huge he took up 3 seats..Not weight wise, but this man was at least 6"10. I wanted his autograph, but since he was sleeping, I didn't want to end up like his opponents, lol.
A friend of mine went to a Rachel Ray book signing and stated she was kind of brusuqe, on top of being late. She simply has a strong personality which may turn some people off.
One thing i've learned about people is well, we are people. I think even someone who is famous will have a bad day once in a while.
Maybe Mr. Black didn't appreciate being called Louie??
hehehe.................and well he is known as the angry comic. However I've met him and he's a cool guy. Very intelligent. Just doesn't like to be treated like a celebrity. His nickname is Lew.
I've met a few, the nicest was Danny Thomas. The rudest was Tom Cruise. Maybe because he's only 4 feet tall, but I've never met a more arrogant rude anyone in my life.
I guess I've been lucky with meeting nice celebrities, mostly athletes though.
When I was 13 or 14 we traveled to Sacramento and stayed in the Holiday Inn. The Lakers happened to be checking in for a stay there and I managed to meet all of them. This was 1983 or so. I rode up the elevator to my floor with half the team and they all signed their signatures for me. I never felt so short. All they asked me was not to tell anyone what floor they were actually on. Pat Riley told me he laughed when I came into the lobby cause my eyes got as big as saucers. The next morning we went down to eat breakfast and ate with them basically. Kareem was at the table to my left and he had to sit by himself as his legs stuck out the other side pretty much.
I met Dave Justice and Deion Sanders in Atlanta when I was sent there in 1991 for training. We were at Cheetah 6 () when they came in and every dancer in the place streamed to them. Well it was our dancer they chose too be entertained by, so we mosied over and they motioned for us to sit with them. Was pretty cool, but I didn't ask why they were out that late at night when they were in the playoff race that year and they had a day game the next day. That was a cool trip to Atlanta because I also saw a combined no-hitter thrown when we went to the ballgame.
I also ran into the 76ers in another mens club in Beverly Hills when we were having a going away party for a co-worker who was transferring to Atlanta. I only remember Armon Gilliam and Manute Bol from that team, but we sat right next to Manute Bol and spoke to him for a few minutes before deciding to leave that club and go onto the next event. Manute is the tallest man I have ever seen in my life.
And I once ran into Alan Autry (Bubba on In the Heat of the Night) eating in a TGIF in Fresno. He lives here and was elected mayor. Said hello and he said hi, lol.
I met Tony Stewart at the Madera Speedway as he was appearing for my brother-in-laws dads boss in the race. He was cool.
Everyone I've met has acted pretty normal and not jaded.
