The story of how his family was left out of his will is common knowledge online... Dont celebs waive their privacy when they want fame... He walked out on his young family ,I think that was enough...
NO .. just what Ive read... the man left his children fighting over his money..surely no parent would want this..
No child is entitled to their parents' assets. He didn't leave them fighting ... they chose to fight. That's on them. My parents even had a clause in their wills that if their children attempted to fight the terms of the will, they would automatically be excluded altogether. Neither of us tried to fight anything of course. We didn't care about getting their money or belongings.

They still had to fight for it,. his son got between 60 and 100 million and rights to his music...hardly fair.. but we all see things differently.... My own kids had a poor upbringing as I was divorced young.. they didnt have much but Im determinded that when I do go.. they will have something from me equally..

No, that's what they were left in the will. They fought for more because they felt entitled.
Your situation with your kids is irrelevant because it's not the same. Whatever you decide to do is up to you. Everyone is free to make whatever decision necessary for the particular situation of their own family.

A will is made before death and the family squabbles not after.... it was mean spirited to do this to his own children.. very mean..New wife new life and forgot the people from his past.. who did him no harm... sad selfish individual.. but hes not alone .. other famous fathers did much the same moved on and forgot..
