I watched some of the clip of him and Geena Davis on the Tonight Show. I am "old school" and normally would not have thought anything of it as that is how it was, but now I found it to be creepy and unpleasant to watch, so I didn't watch the whole clip. After seeing that I doubt he is "innocent" in his dealings with other women, then and now.
And what was David Letterman thinking? I thought this was rather gross and unnecessary:
He sort of already had it. He was extorted by the ex of one of his staff who was in a recurring bit with him, and also in the sack with him, and it came out that he had sex with other female employees. I liked David Letterman a lot but that bit always made me uncomfortable because he "pretended" to be rude to her but it came across as demeaning to me and I didn't even know anything else was going on. Turns out he was doing more than that behind the scenes.
