One of the things my husband enjoy is going out to hear live music now & then.

I don't mean a concert. For example tonight we had a casual dinner at a pub that had one person playing guitar & singing Irish music.

Is there anything like that in MP? (Not the Irish music specifically, but the music).

Wild Wings on Coleman has music all the time.

We've been to the Wind Jammer (we saw Grace Potter & the Nocturnals). It's not really a restaurant but lots of live music. High Thyme on Sullivans Island has live bands on Sunday afternoons -- like their Facebook page to find out who and when. Home Team BBQ on Sullivans has live music on occasion. Red Drum on Coleman in Mt. Pleasant has live music at night.

Vickerys often has live music for special events. Charleston Harbour Resort Marina has Party on the Points on Fridays. Buddy Roe's Shrimp Shack also has live music.

And last but not least -- it's a hop skip and a jump to Charleston downtown with a multitude of choices, especially if you are south of the Isle of Palm Connector.

Troubadour's (coffee place) has something like that on the weekend nights, or at least they used to. I don't know if they still do.

On Tuesday nights in June there are country bands at Waterfront Park.

A lot of festivals around town have bands playing.

There is Party at the Point on Fridays in the summer. It looks like all ages from the pictures I have seen.

oh gosh yeah Troubadour's -- they have some stuff during the week too. I've been there a number of times for music -- thanks for the reminder.
