We've been to the Wind Jammer (we saw Grace Potter & the Nocturnals). It's not really a restaurant but lots of live music. High Thyme on Sullivans Island has live bands on Sunday afternoons -- like their Facebook page to find out who and when. Home Team BBQ on Sullivans has live music on occasion. Red Drum on Coleman in Mt. Pleasant has live music at night.
Vickerys often has live music for special events. Charleston Harbour Resort Marina has Party on the Points on Fridays. Buddy Roe's Shrimp Shack also has live music.
And last but not least -- it's a hop skip and a jump to Charleston downtown with a multitude of choices, especially if you are south of the Isle of Palm Connector.
I'm just too tired to refute you ... but I have been in more than 1 place with live music in Mt P ... Kickin' Chicken, Finz, Liberty Tavern .. not talking quality ... just live ...
O'briens I think in I'on is an Irish pub with music some nights. I think the Shelter has music some too, Red's generally does, Home Team at SI, there's quite a few.
