Thoughts?

I'm not sure I've tried enough but some I've had have been disappointingly small.

Let me know if you found a delicious chicken parm sub.

Love the Firehouse brisket. Everyone clamors about Publix but the last sub I got there was a chicken finger one that had bones in it.

I really miss Lenny's Sub Shop in West Ashley. I feel a little sub every time I drive by it . They were my favorite.

I think as far as chains go, Firehouse is probably the best. Not really sure about local places because I don't eat sub sandwiches/hoagies out very often...

What's up with all your 'Best' food questions? I know, I know...if I don't like it, don't read the thread.

I love the "best" threads . Everyone's opinion is subjective, but it gives me a good idea of places to try that aren't on my radar.

Personally, my wife and I really love "Larry's Giant Subs". We go to the location on Trolley, and the sandwiches are always great. I think they're definitely better then most of the other sub shop/brands. They do have a chicken parm sub, but I haven't tried it before.

Re: Firehouse subs. I honestly do not get the hype for this chain. I've tried it a few times, and each time I was left really underwhelmed. :shrugs:

I miss eating at Schlotzsky's. Not sure where they have outlets on the east coast.

There is one in North Charleston on Rivers Ave by Aviation Ave, not sure if there are any others down here though.
