I am hoping to locate a decent seafood restaurant. I am not looking for all of the bell and whistles, just good seafood. Thanks for any replies.

The Ordinary

What type of seafood are you after?

I have a Masters degree from Brockport and are from Chili myself. Yes, would never move back at all, absolutely love it here. The restaurants I mentioned are good bets. Fleet Landing and Coast downtown are also known for their seafood. Let me know when you need to know where the best fried Haddock fish fries are (Coleman Public House). Italian sausage patties are hard to come by but you can order the ones they serve at Bill Grays online. PM me anytime.

Add Fish on upper King to the aforementioned list ... and Chez Fish on Bohicket Rd should you find yourself nearby . ie Johns Island... then of course ... for the fun of it .... Bubba Roes on Chuck Dawley ....nothing fancy for sure.. but fun... shrimp with a band and miniature golf ...lol

All of the places mentioned are great, but many of them are likely fancier than you're looking for if you don't care for all the bells and whistles as you mentioned.

try The Wreck
The Wreck of the Richard & Charlene Home

It's on Shem Creek. It's about as no frills as it gets; although, it's not exactly cheap.

I appreciate all the suggestions, I can't wait until I try these establishments . As already known some of the worst looking places have the best food.

Haddock - loved the beer Battered.
