With you. Just more horrible, mass produced crap. With all the great places in the metro to get burgers, it baffles me. But some folks eat Chef Boyardee and call it Italian.

Huh? Your initial post followed one by macalan. It did not include the quoted text from Jandrew. It really wasn't that big a deal.

Toodles.

Both stores are perfect for this market for what they sell. We'll see with everything else. Stores are dfeinately gonna want to be around Costco.

I agree I think the flood of grocers is crazy. Mount Pleasant i believe has around a grocer for every 3,000 people, which is pretty high, especially compared to downtown which is around 17,000 each.
Agreed. REI is great. Not familiar with Golfsmith. Was more commenting on Red Robin, Dollar Tree, etc..

Not sure why you couldn't do "upscale" in that spot. I'd prefer to see a Williams-Sonoma, Crate and Barrel, Talbots, Barnes and Noble, Starbucks, Teavana, Gap, Apple Store, Running Shoe Store, or even a Home Goods or Office Depot rather than fast food places or gas stations. A small cinema would be nice too as QTopplings mentioned. We could also use a Bottles up this way!

I hope if CP does build the Town Center as they promise, that it's something along the lines of Freshfields Village and not just a big strip mall.

I'd like to see another grocery store simply because Publix is already getting crowded and there still more construction on the way.

I can't believe Mt Pleasant doesn't have a Panera, so I think that's overdue.

A good traditional Greek Diner, or a Too Jays would be fantastic
