Teeter, Sept 2010. Publix in Cane Bay > October 2010

The crappy economy has pushed these dates back about 9 months

I want to thank you all for the information on this forum. I am looking to buy my first home in Cane Bay and was enticed by all the shopping and stuff coming to the area. I was getting a little concerned when I had seen no progress on the land. It is good to know they are not giving up on that. When my parents bought their first home, the area made a ton of promises, like a new elementary school, which opened when I started HS (they moved in when I was an infant!). Thank you again, it has made this process a little bit easier.

Does anyone know when the middle school is scheduled to open?

I have my final walk through of my house in Cane Bay coming up; I can't wait to move in!

Thinking the MS will be 1 or 2 more years?!? We moved in 2yrs ago Halloween and of course saw NO kids. This year though, watch out! Make sure you load up on candy!! I'm sure the kids will be crossing subdivisions (Sant Cove to Old Rice)

Well this isn't so bad if it holds to date:

The Market at Carnes | Overview

Completion date 2010.

I was told by someone on the school board in the spring that they are out of money right now to build the middle school.

Sigh that would be awesome. As soon as an anchor store is there, the other stores will come in.

A nail place next door to get a mani/pedi would be awesome!

The Centex people said they are suppose to start the Middle School in the next year. I don't know if that is true or not, they seem to have limited information on things at times as well. I picked my house and the lot, now I just have to give them the money and sign the contract. Big deal for me: My first house!! Excited. Now just need to keep my fingers crossed that they extend that credit, that would make it even sweeter!
