I know these things work in some towns but you would never catch me in one. I would be sweatin hopin some fool did not treat it like a bicycle and just plow over us. Even if I could deal with that, the bad thing a taxi like this is that the view never changes and occasionally being downwind of someone working hard in the hot sun is not nice.

So now the two most prominent vacant buildings in that area will be filled (at least partially with the New China Building, possibly). As much as people (myself included) love the East End, there aren't a whole lot of things over there. Adding two more ventures to the fold will definitely help.

That is certainly positive news! A couple of weeks ago, they were doing work to the brick building adjacent to the dog park. At one time there was a dentist going in there that was going to purchase part of the park for an addition. I don't know if that is still happening, but it could be.

The dentist decided not to build there, but is instead locating (or may have already moved) to an existing building on the Boulevard.

Thanks,

that leads me to my next question: what is going in the building that the dentist was going to locate in?

The dentist was going to build a new building adjacent to the existing one, taking out about a third of the dog park.

A few more details on the proposed hotel near the ballpark: apparently it will be a smaller, 80-ish room hotel, but still a national "flag."

The far more interesting blurb buried in the middle of the article is that Kathy Rubio, owner of Spa Bliss, is thinking about buying the CharmCo building.
