I haven't heard anything on this lately. Let's hope Hickory authorities are building a good case here. Maybe no news is good news, I hope so. Some bit of justice needs to happen here.
That may be partly true. Hickory is not a small town, but has generally had a fairly low crime rate & not a lot of really violent crime or psycho kind of stuff you expect in the larger cities. I'm sure the police there aren't as experienced in this more extreme kind of criminal behavior.
My sister lives there & my father grew up there. I've visited there over the years. That's how I came to have some knowledge of the town.
No evidence of anyone else involved but the step mom.........
