I remember seeing an ad for a dentist maybe a year ago who was talking about procedures that cost $40,000! I remember hearing that they offered financing too. I don't understand how any dental procedure could cost that much.

Hmmm, if I was told it was going to cost anywhere near that amount it would have to be dentures...sigh...and that would kill me as much money my father had to put out for braces at a time when money was very tight.

Well for that amount I'd be getting a grill made out of platinum & diamonds. I bet eating ice cream would hurt.

But again, nothing would suprise me anymore regarding the cost of dental work. Some dentists can come up with an excuse for anything it seems. I had one dentist fill several teeth when I was young saying the braces caused it..and yet my dentist I had years later said that other dentist was infact showing me shadows on the X-rays and not cavities at all so I not only paid for all the unnecessary dental work but also to have my good teeth drilled and filled. Nice. Another reason I try to be cautious of any dentist I choose as a regular dentist. Oh how I miss my dentist .......sigh.......And he let me send his office payments so all of the money went to him for my bill and not to some credit company for interest. Guess I'll just end up getting the work I can afford done when I can afford it.
