Certainly she must know nothing about Mecklenburg county taxes then. Anyone living in any other county surrounding Mecklenburg has it far better. I'd rather see the school tax as a separate item rather than have it buried in the county property tax where endless games, such as those we just went through, are played by politicians.

I looked up the school tax rate for Mooresville graded school district and it's 14 cents.
Iredell county tax rate is 48 cents and Mooresville city 58 cents.
