I totally and completely understand where you are coming from! That's the number one reason we moved (well work played itself out correctly too. I talked about moving every winter ).

Na, London gets no snow ...the summer , yes... As a note I dont like severe cold either (20 or less) ...
London is gloomy too tho. I have friends from there who adore the sun, almost sun worshipers now that they are here in Charlotte.

I am happier with the great yellow ball of pain hidden beneath the clouds..had lunch outside ..what a nice day! Love listening to that cool northeast breeze gently whistle through the trees. Days like today reinforce how much I want to get back north where this is more common.

I can hardly wait the couple of years I'll have to in order to take my retirement from work and get to NC! Sunshine...warm temps...it sounds heavenly. I'll have to find work, which isn't easy anywhere, but I'm too young to retire fully for a few more years.

We had frost on top of the hot tub yesterday morning.

It will be raw today and kids will have a nice chance at getting sick because of being in the mist/rain for their baseball games......that will lead to some missing school and staying home....

Gotta love it!

But this is the weather we want, right!

70's are nice.. even low 80's are tolerable if you are not out in the sun. 85 is my tipping point. But again its not the temps its the amount of time at those temps..I love a good heat wave too when you know in 3 days the temps will get back to the 70's again.
