Temperature seems to be a popular subject on this board. Some think 50 is cold, others laugh at the idea. So what temperature do you consider cold?

I heard it'll be in the mid-40s Saturday morning. I'd say that's cold.

What do I consider cold?
Anytime I cant wear shorts. , shiver or need to turn heat on.

50 to 60 is cool and no need for heat. I wear short sleeves, pants any maybe a jacket. Or jacket & shorts.

To me cold is anything in 40's or below and requires a coat.

Tip: Christmas shopping do not buy anyone in this area a wool sweater. They will rarely wear it unless they are skiers.
Wool socks are nice though.

Below 0 F is cold. If it'll give you frostbite, that is cold too. I am one of those people that wear shorts year-around in Charlotte though.

Thin-blooded southerner here: 40º is cold to me. But I still don't mind it. Once you get below 20º, it all feels the same.

60s are comfortable to cool...
50s are cool to chilly...
40s are cold.
Yep, some people wear shorts year round in Charlotte but that doesn't mean most people don't think they're crazy, a bit odd or just look plain silly...
