All my life, 46 years so far! Grew up in the Mallard Creek area, which, back then, was cow fields & 2-lane roads. My Dad was also born here, in 1937. We were both born at Mercy Hospital! Well... he was actually born in a boarding house on Parkwood Ave (nice area back then), then was taken to Mercy to be checked over.
A few of my school friends still live here - the Pucketts and Oehlers are also long-time Charlotte families, and I went to school with some of those folks.
the locals that I have met have told me that you are only local if you are born here.
