Hello everyone my name is Emily Sarnevitz I am the co-owner of Donut King with my Father Lyle Sarnevitz located in Huntersville North Carolina in the Rosedale shopping center...
Welcome Emily and family! I know ~I~ am looking forward to trying out your family's venture! Mmmm... baked goods!
Rosedale shopping center in Huntersville exit 23. Notice a new place will be opening by the Great Clips end. Donut King, love my donuts I m glad there will be another option besides DK. I will update later when it opens. The new goodwill on Statesville Rd. in Huntersville also looks like it will opening sometime soon. I heard the end of September. The lights are on.
Doesn't DK = Donut King, or some place that has the initials DK?
Yeah, well, they've probably been open for a while; just that nobody updated the thread.
I stopped in this morning after an appointment in Huntersville. You could smell the donuts in the air before you even walked in. There was one couple at a table. Other than that, the place was empty. C'mon C-Der's... lets support local!!!
Anyway, they had a nice assortment of flavors. I picked an old-fashioned sour cream and a Boston Cream to go. I didn't get any coffee, but they serve Green Mountain (at least that's what a large sign advertises.)
At work, I dug into the Boston Cream. This donut is HUGE; heavy with boston creamy goodness! The doughy part of the donuts was tasty, with that little bit of crunch! MMMmmmmm-Mmmm! Heaven!
Unfortunately, I'm full now and cannot even taste my Sour Cream donut... I hope it's crunchy, too!

I stopped by yesterday and picked up 2 donuts. I picked up a Boston Cream and the Maple Kevin Bacon. Both were big and excellent. I will definitely go back and eat there again.
I don't get down to Exit 23 very often, but I was down there in December to drop off my TWC equipment, so I visited the Donut King. What a fine surprise I had there. The donuts were huge and delicious. I brought home a 1/2 dozen and my DW was so mad at me for doing that. I think she was hooked after one! Anyway, I'll make it a point to patronize this fine business again when I'm in the area.
I had to give them a try, When I first look at there huge variety of doughnuts the first thing that grab my attention was how huge they was. I also grab me a cup of coffee, since I like to taste richness of the beans of coffee and not with additives like cream or sugar it was real good I didnt realized til I got home its Green Mountain Coffee.
For a cake doughnut it was good still wish Krispy Kreme would franchise in Lake Norman area.
IMO I think after a year and get a loyal customer base they should also make the big cupcakes that was popular in this forum a few years ago
Here a picture of chocolate glazed chocolate doughnut and red velvet creme cheese with choc.olate chip sprinkles I ordered.
