My point was additional toilets that are leaking/flushed and tubs being filled!? I really don't know why I included that--- ha ha.... Maybe for the moment I was thinking I was assessed extra or something.... LOL

Those jealous commuters from "South Charlotte" are out to get us.
Check out Berewick as an option. If you like it, I have a house for sale there I bought from work last year. It is a cul-de-sac lot, 2500+ sf, and lots of upgrades.
If not, there are lots of other nice areas in this fast-growing area of Charlotte that is a hidden gem! Good luck.
It's not too bad for two people, but we conserve everything as much as possible, even if there is no drought. It's about $70 per month including sewer (about 50% water, 50% sewer, or pretty close to it). I had to pay $25 a month as my part of the subzidized water and garbage pickup at my apartment in Charlotte. Plus even though I have more sq feet in my house than in my apartment in Charlotte, my energy bill is about 25% less on average. I don't have garbage pickup, but I live about 1 mile from the convenience and recycling center (it's not the dump or landfill, just a place to drop it off), so that's free as I have to drive by there anyway.
The one I metnioned is in Fort Mill on Hwy 160 near the Leroy Springs Rec Center and there is one next to Baxter Village too. There is one on Byrum not too far from Steele Creek which will take a lot of things. Just go to Charlotte Mecklenburg Living and click on recycling.
Yea, that seems to be the consensus.. So far, I enjoy the area of Steele Creek! Dont live there, but have visited, driven through, etc..I am fairly new so cant make a real assessment...
