Hi, is anyone familiar with the Fairways at Piper Glen apartments north of Ballantyne? The reviews on apartment ratings is not to good. The office staff seemed nice and the apartments looked nice as well.

I live near there and have friends in there. Their main complaint was they could hear everything their upstairs neighbors were doing. Try for a top floor end unit. The area is great for shopping and schools. And the highway is seconds away.

I had a friend that lived there years ago. They are in a great location, walking distance to Trader Joe's, Starbucks, etc. As long as they are not managed by The Connor Group, it can't be all that bad, lol. BTW, most ratings on apartment sites are usually bad because typically more people that are unhappy write reviews than people that are happy. The only thing I didn't like about my friends building was that the outdoor patios were not private enough. For example, if you lived on level 2, people walking up to level 3 walk right by your patio. The stairwell is between the patios on each floor and it is open for people to just look in. He hated that. But that may not be how every building is and may not matter to you anyway.

Hi momtothree, we will be moving into a top floor apartment, so I hope we won't be a bother to the neighbors downstairs! We are a quite family.

Hi swompfoxer, we are very excited that it is close to a Starbucks and trader joe's! I do not know who the management group is now, but I hope it is a good company. Right now we have Graystar as the managing group where we are staying, and they are fantastic. My wife and I have noticed that problem as well, regarding privacy. And we have thought about putting up blinds on the sides of the patio, like bamboo blindes or similar to that, we hope that will give us more privacy. And you are right about reviewers, I just hope to see some good reviews (that do not seem to be staged by the office personal). So any other comments would be appreciated.

Thank you guys
